A trip to The Eye

Long time has gone since my first death, followed by contless others. I've been killed by every living being from Azeroth, from humans hidden in ther dark caves to dragons which get angry for me taking one or two of their eggs...

...or maybe 4 or 5...
...or 10...

Nothing to do with this, have you ever tried fried dragon eggs with boar porks? delicious

Anyway, long time has gone since that first death and Ive learned many things about how, when and where to die. Sometimes I even manage to avoid death, is a hard skil I've been working on for months...

So here I am.

Laying down at Solarian feet watching the rest of my mates casting spells and glancing their swords towards the Mage. It's at that moment, in the middle of the battle and with my face in the cold floor that I remember what we did a couple of hours ago.

It was a calm night, but in the air you could feel something was going on. Everyone knew what we had to do tonight, all of us were focused on it. And we knew it would be today. Today Al'ar would pay for all of our suffering. Today we would take vengeance on all the innocent deaths (all the inocent you can be when you get into a house topped up with weapons to kill him) Alar had caused the las few weeks.

We were decided to do it, we knew we could. Some blood elves were waiting for us, loyally protecting their master's lair. They already knew what we were able to do (we had paid them some visits before that), and even though, they came towards us in crazyness. Our leader had already pointed out which would be their dying order. This was going to be funny.

[Leader]: > Go go go go go!!!
Tank1 taunts ElfWarrior1
Tank2 taunts ElfWarrior2
Mage1 castas polymorph on ElfMage1
Mage2 lanza polimorfia sobre ElfMage2
Your backstab crits ElfWarrior1 for 2264
ElfWarrior1 starts his whirlwind
Whirlwind from ElfWarrior1 hits you for 5572
Whirlwind from ElfWarrior1 hits you for 5786
You are dead

And thats how a normal combat goes (the "you are dead" part can happen at the beginning or at any other time, even when the fight is over). The others take care to kill the remaining elves.
This way we approached Alar room.
At our arrival, you could only hear the phoenix Gods flapping wings.

[Leader]:> Tanks, go to your position. Dont let the birdie see you
[Leader]:> The rest stay still for when the tanks are ready
[Tank1]:> Ready
[Tank2]:> Ready
[Tank3]:> Ready
[Tank4]:> Ready
[Tank5]:> Ready
[Lider]: > Go go go go go!!!

Tank1 took the eye of Alar while the rest took our places in the room and the ranged hit it. The melees were waiting for Alar switching tank when he got bored.
Alar shouted and crossed the room flying, letting where he was befor a couple of growing flames which finally took the shape of little Alars. The melee went quickly to hit them...

[Hunter1]:> Melees
[Rogue1]:> Yeah?
[Druid1]:> Tell us
[Arda]:> Eat steel, birdie!!!
[Hunter1]:> Remember that when it dyes it explodes, so get away from him
[Druid2]:> Yeah, don't worry
[Arda]:> I'm going to stick my dagger into your thro...
Son of Al'ar dies and explodes
Son of Al'ar's explotion hits you for 2578 and throws you to the other side of the room
[Arda]:> ...
[Hunter1]:> ¬¬

We kept doing it over and over, Al'ar flying over our heads and me flying from one side to another. When we thought it was never going to die, we saw him weaken. He started crossing the room, flapped its wings a couple of times ver heavily and slowly and suddenly fell to the floor. Its body still covered with flames started to burnd down to ashes. We were all expectant. Just one or two braves dared getting closer to the ashes. Silence reigned in the room. We only felt a strange emotion and a growing, intense heat.

It should be joy.

Or that fireball growing above the ashes...

Did I say fireball? Oh no...not again...

But it was too late, we didn't see it coming, the explotion caught us unprepared, we fell to the ground due to the expansive wave and those who were closer flew through the air. A chilling image took shape on one side of the room...

An angel...a ghostly angel...a priest had died. Al'ar was going to regret it.

We got into battle madly, our eyes pouring hate and vengeance. We gave Al'ar everything we had. The reigning silence got instantly filled with swords clashing with its beak, with daggers ripping through his guts, with arrows tearing his wings, with the creep of mages' fire when it hit Al'ar fire...culminated with the sweetest sound whe had heard in a long time...

The dying last shout of Al'ar...

Al'ar couldn't face our might...but that was a while ago.

Now we were facing Solarian...at least we were...

[Arda]:> Where is everyone?
[Leader]:> Who you mean by 'everyone'?
[Arda]:> All the people who were killing Solarian
[Mage1]:> They are sleeping
[Warlock1]:> Lol
[Leader]:> Arda, raid was over an hour and a half ago
[Paladin1]:> We tried to take you back, but you didn't answer, we thought you really were dead
[Arda]:> ...
