In the mines

When I still was level 17 or so (in Terenas) I remember one day my friend Erick told me:

[Arda]:> hmmmm, ok, where's that?
[Erickblack]:> Westfall, follow me

[Erickblack]:> Hi Arda
[Mage]:> hi arda
[Priest]:> hello
[Tank]:> hi
[Arda]:> hi everyone
[Arda]:> what are all these people doing here?
[Erickblack]:> it's the party, for deadmines
[Arda]:> but what's there in deadmines?
[Erickblack]:> deadmines is an instance
[Arda]:> a what?
[Erickblack]:> .......
[Erickblack]:> it's a place filled up with elite mobs in which your get XP and bosses drop very good loot
[Arda]:> aaaahm, ok....I follow you

Knowing what deadmines was we went there. At the beginning it seemed like any other mines, but a tunnel had a strangee glow, which they told me it was the instance entrance, so there we went all together.
On the other side of the entrance all the miners and the other players had disappeared, we were the 5 of us alone. The first thing I thought when we were alone was: "Wow, the priest's staff is really cool!!!..." (Haidem I think he was named) "...with a glowing skull!!! I thought priests wouldn't have skulls ornaments..."
Ahead there was a room with a lot of miners, all of them hostiles and members of an illegal organization being pursued by the law. We started killing them gradually...

[Haidem]:> Arda, give the tank a few seconds before you start hitting the mobs
[Arda]:> why?
[Cynamon]:> because of the aggro
[Cynamon]:> when we hit we build up aggro and the mob goes for the higher in the aggro list
[Haidem]:> so before you hit it...
Arda hits the miner
You are dead
[Haidem]:> ...let the tank get some aggro

When the room was empty something that I couldn't understand happened...as if everyone knew what they had to do, each member of the party got on an empty wagon...I shrugged my shoulders and got on the last one. Haidem took the lead and got on the first on foot(the rest of us were sat) and all at once started to make a gesture with the hand as if pulling something from above and making the sound of a train.
At that moment I didn't know its meaning...now I do...the explanation is at reach of anyone's hand, and is summed up in one single sentence: "are crazy these romans"

We kept going killing boss after boss, and after opening a door with a cannon (BOOM!!!) we found ourselves in a huge flooded cavern with an enormous ship in the middle.

We made our way to the top of the ship and we saw the captain...and he was a rogue...

[Arda]:> you must be kidding
[everyone]:> ¿??¿?¿?¿?
[Arda]:> do you really want me to kill a rogue? why don't I make the arakiri to myself directly?
[Erickblack]:> don't be so concerned, he is with the bad guys
[Arda]:> it desn't matter, you should be ashamed Erick, treasoning your own workmates this way!!!
[Haidem]:> okay okay, calm down. Look, this is the boss of all the villains walking around here and won't want any good to us nor to your workmates
[Arda]:> and how can we kno??? did anyone ask him?!?!?!
[Arda]:> I'm surrounded by racists
[Arda]:> intolerants
[Erickblack]:> Arda, you can get his shoulderpads and his helmet when he is dead
[Arda]:> raci.....
[Erickblack]:> and he drops money, besides the money from the quest

In the end the only thing we got was the gold (which I used on repairs), because Cynamon burned all his clothes and nothing could be used. That day I learnt rogues are meant to die, even though you have people protecting you.
